I love MAC.
It’s been twelve years since I’ve worked w/windows mandated at the time by UHMC to interface with Laulima software. Generally speaking, the world has grown to incorporate Windows, Linux and MAC operating systems and dozens more.
If you are new to game programming, however, and contemplating the purchase of a new computer; lets be certain, you will experience less adaptation while in your learning modules using PC w/Microsoft Windows OS.
Perhaps you are curious as to why, here’s the answer. “Unity Technologies, provider of the Unity multi-platform game engine and development tools, entered into an agreement with Microsoft to collaborate on development tools for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Xbox One”.
In an effort to reduce potential barrier-to-entry for game programmers; I’m grateful to discover Unity too has identified adjustments for MAC users within the manual and scripting API. docs.unity3d.com. — super helpful.
Just a quick tool-tip for those starting out, set yourself up for success!
Be brave, stand resilient!
